About the Role

As a Sales & Solutions Strategist, you’ll play a dual role in driving EVA.ai’s growth. You’ll spearhead sales efforts by engaging mid-market clients and closing high-value deals while also collaborating with leadership to design and launch a pre-packaged, entry-level EVA instance to accelerate market penetration. This role blends strategic sales execution with product innovation, requiring a seasoned professional who thrives in a dynamic startup environment.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll shape our sales strategy, target new markets (e.g., APAC, UAE), and help EVA.ai expand into a global HR tech leader. If you’re a client-focused sales expert with a knack for creative problem-solving, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

Solutions Strategy & Product Innovation

  • Collaborate with the CEO and Product & CS teams to design a pre-packaged EVA instance for lower mid-market clients (1,000–5,000 employees).

  • Define pricing, margins, and market positioning for this entry-level offering, reducing time-to-sell from 12 months to under 3 months.

  • Conduct market analysis to identify low-hanging fruit and refine ideal customer profiles (ICPs) based on your industry insights.

  • Provide feedback to refine EVA.ai’s platform, ensuring alignment with client needs and competitive trends.

Sales Leadership & Client Engagement

  • Lead the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—for mid-market clients (1,000–5,000+ employees), targeting HR and Talent executives.

  • Build trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders, positioning EVA.ai as a must-have solution for recruitment, mobility, and workforce optimization.

  • Deliver compelling, tailored product demos that showcase EVA.ai’s AI-driven capabilities and address client-specific pain points.

  • Achieve quarterly revenue targets (contributing to a $0.5M annual goal), focusing on net new logos and shorter sales cycles (3 months).

Pipeline & Cross-Functional Impact

  • Own a high-value sales pipeline, leveraging tools like HubSpot and Apollo to drive efficient outreach and conversions.

  • Work with Marketing and Customer Success to align sales efforts with broader company goals, sharing client insights to enhance product development.

  • Contribute to EVA.ai’s reputation as an innovative HR tech provider through thought leadership and strategic client wins.

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

  • Enterprise Sales Expertise: 5+ years in sales (5+ in enterprise roles), ideally in SaaS or HR tech, with a proven track record of closing deals.

  • HR Tech Knowledge: Deep understanding of HR technology (e.g., ATS, conversational AI, talent management) from similar firms.

  • Consultative Selling: Ability to uncover client challenges and tailor solutions, positioning yourself as a strategic partner to HR leaders.

  • Communication Skills: Clear, persuasive communicator adept at presenting technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Technical Acumen: Comfortable discussing AI, low/no-code platforms, and workforce analytics, translating features into business value.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Industry Network: Existing relationships with enterprise HR decision-makers.

  • Startup Experience: Proven success in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.

  • Sales Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with HubSpot, Apollo.io, or similar for pipeline management and targeted outreach.

  • Strategic Vision: Experience shaping product offerings or go-to-market strategies, balancing sales execution with long-term planning.
